The room is well-equipped and brand-new, comes with nice closets and great amenities, as example. A special thanks to very amiable and professional stuff.

They gave us a deluxe queen room with outdoor shower. The room also had climate control, a laptop-compatible safe, and multi-channel television. The location was peaceful - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go. What's more, it was 10 mins drive from Playa Azul.

Disappointing aspect was dirty bathroom.

Beautiful hotel located close enough to beautiful tropical gardens, nature, and the ocean of the venue's private beach. Extremely polite, outstandingly accommodating staff towards all guests. Huge neat room with outdoor shower. A great selection of goodies for breakfast.

We found a beautiful, small resort in the middle of a challenging coast highway. The resort offers stunning views of the beach, allowing guests to wake up to the soothing sound of the sea in the morning. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast options are limited but satisfying, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

When I am in Playa Azul, I like staying here. It's an amazing and fairly clean hotel, rooms are well-equipped. The property staff is very friendly and affable.

Traveled with my sister to visit family. Resort was beautiful, not crowded during our stay. Gorgeous ocean view from our rooms. Excellent food and friendly staff. Hidden gem with an isolated, pristine beach. Immaculately maintained pool. Upgraded rooms with balcony and hammocks are worth it. Can't wait to come back!

the room was huge and big, with an own bathroom. the location was stunning and favourable: a mall and a market were within walking distance.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. I especially loved the fact that it was located right in front of the ocean, on a stunning black sand beach. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and I enjoyed taking long walks along the miles of shore. The breakfast provided was fantastic and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

The staff was fairly friendly and super friendly, so I would return there. Stunningly beautiful hotel, stayed here for 1 night and had a really really nice experience. Booked a room with balconies. The food was outstanding with a great selection of choice! The location was marvellous in front of the ocean.

The location was beautiful fabulous to look at with black sand and the staff here was nice. Besides, it was very close to the super market in Liberia in the Santa Rosa Plaza shopping center, a swimable beach, and a beautiful Garden.

During my recent stay at Azul Hotel & Retreat, I was amazed by the spacious and beautiful room. The surroundings and garden are incredibly pretty, just like in many places in Costa Rica. One specific situation that stood out was the fantastic free breakfast they offered. It was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. Despite the limited options nearby, the peacefulness of the resort made up for it. I highly recommend Azul Hotel & Retreat for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

The location of the hotel was remote, just off the Santa Rosa Plaza shopping center and the super market in Liberia in the Santa Rosa Plaza shopping center and beautiful beaches. The room was well-equipped and brand-new and we thoroughly enjoyed coffee/tea making machines and a refrigerator. Everyone working at this incredibly beautiful and amazing property was affable.
